Meet Jon

I have loved sport and fitness all my life and feel very privileged to be able to have a career doing what I enjoy. I strongly believe that you get out of life what you put into it and fitness perfectly reflects this mantra.

When my opportunity came to turn my passion into my job I initially studied sports science, I spent 2 years learning the science and psychology behind the practical, and I think this has helped me understand and adapt my training programs to my clients needs.  I have continued to learn new skills and am always keen to learn about new trends and theories that can improve my practice.

As a personal trainer and coach, I give 100% to my clients and I hope and expect them to give the same. ‘You get what you work for, not what you wish for’, another of my mottos and there is nothing better than the feeling of achievement when you have given everything and over time you see the results of your hard work.

My sporting achievements include running marathons, and representing GB as an age-group athlete in long course triathlon. I am an AWA Silver Ironman, something I think my wife is more proud of than me as it means she doesn’t have to hang around so long when we go to register for a race.

I believe you have to enjoy getting fit and it shouldn’t be regarded as a punishment or hardship. There is a sport for everyone.  Mixing up your routine and setting new challenges, finding your own way of working and adapting traditional methods and class formats to make getting fit something to embrace rather than endure.

MOJO fitness is about helping everyone enjoy, improve and progress their own fitness and health, Vicky and I work very well together to deliver varied classes that are fun but also push you to get the best from yourself.

Feel Free to give me a call
